The votes have been tallied and the results are in…Citysearch presents a user generated top ten list of the Best Burgers in Los Angeles for 2008.  At the top of the class is perennial favorite, The Apple Pan.

This top ten comes from all the way across the pond.  Food writer Amy Balfour picks her top ten burgers in Los angeles for the Guardian UK, all but one of which (Cafe Midi) are LA top ten standards.

Alan Rickman racked up quite a few miles and downed nearly as many burgers in order to bring you this list of 20 hamburgers to eat before you die.

MyFoxLA’s editors didn’t break much new ground with their top 5 list of cheap burgers in Los Angeles.  Though a bit of a rehash, it can be somewhat forgiven.  After all, these are the burgers we’ve come to know and love in LA.

It’s hard to disagree with AOL Cityguide’s list of the top ten LA burgers.

In an older article from 2007, Raymond Sokolov of The Wall Street Journal spells out his favorite burgers in the nation.  The perennial LA favorite The Apple Pan receives brief mention.

Gayot’s list of the top ten burgers in LA has all the usual suspects.

In the August 2008 issue of Orange Coast magazine, food writers Gretchen Kurz and Anne Valdespino list their top ten gourmet burgers in the OC.  Included in the article is a mention of six less costly, traditional variants.
